Breed Critique :

A large, impressive, very well proportioned dog of good pigment, medium strength with high withers, firm back and very good length and lay of croup. A long upper arm which could be slightly better angled, very good hindquarter angulation. Stands correct in front with balanced chest proportions, however for his size, the head could be a little stronger and the eye colour a little darker. Steps correct rear with firm joints, the elbows however could be a little firmer. Shows strong powerful gait with strong hindquarter drive and very good back transmission, the forehand reach could be just a little freer. Temperament and character lively, alert and good natured.

Faults and Virtues :

A dog of obvious quality with particularly good top and underline. Due to size (66cm) he is only able to achieve Class II classification.

Breeding Advice :

Suitable for medium sized, strong, substantial, well pigmented bitches which require improvement in wither placement and croup formation. Connections to Cello Romerau are not recommened.
