Breed Critique :

A large, just medium strong, well coloured and well pigmented young male of just slightly elongated body proportions. High withers, slight nick behind, firm back, slightly short and slightly steep croup. The upper arm is of good length but should be better angled. Good lay of the shoulder blade. Very good hindquarter angualtion with very good breadth of thigh. Stands correct in front with slightly open feet. Good forechest development and slightly short in underchest. Good head, medium eye colour, very good masking of the skull and foreface. Good ear carriage. Steps slightly narrow at rear, correct in from where the elbows should be closer laying. Good firmness of hock joints. During movement shows very good ground covering gait with very good hindquarter drive, the forehand reach however should be a little freer and just at times there is a slight tendency to high step in front. Temperament and character firm and self assured. Gunsure.

Faults and Virtues :

A large young well coloured male that requires to reach final maturity. The overall development for his size and even for his young age overall should show more strength and substance. Maybe be presented at a later date if he shows further development with maturity. Should not become any deeper in chest proportions. Not presented in the best of coat condition at the breed survey.

Breeding Advice :

Suitable for strong robust, well proportioned bitches requiring improvement in colour and pigmentation and balance of hindquarter angulation. Linebreeding on Quantum Arminius is not advised. Care to be exercised in regards to the length of lowerchest.
