Breed Critique :

Above medium size, medium strong, black and gold, elongated, expressive dog.  Good strength of the skull and foreface.  Good strength of neck, high withers, the back should be slightly firmer, the croup is of good length but slightly steep.  The upper arm should be longer with deep hindquarter angulation.  Shows balanced fore and underchest development.  Standing correct when viewed from the front.  Hocks and elbows should be a little firmer.  During movement shows good drive and good reach transmitted through a backline which should remain a little firmer.  Temperament calm and self assured.

Faults and Virtues :

Overall ligamentation should be firmer.  Ears should be firmer.

Breeding Advice :

Care to be taken with regard to deep hind angulation and overall firmness of ligamentation.
