A large, strong, substantial, masculine dog of very good type. Strong masculine head with desired dark eyes. Very good ear placement, slightly short neck. High withers, firm back, slightly short croup. Very good fore and hindquarter angulation. Praiseworthy very good length of foreleg. Good forechest and underchest development. Slightly short loin. Stands correct in front. Steps slightly cow-hocked. Correct coming where the elbows should be firmer. Exhibits very good drive and forehand reach where the topline could be slightly firmer. Firm in character and gunsure.

Faults and Virtues :

A large, substantial, masculine dog presented in a little heavy condition today. Would not like the underchest to become any deeper.

Consideration to bitches requiring proportions, strength of head, eye colour and possibly cementing of hip and elbow scores.
