Breed Critique :

A very large, strong, substantial, well proportioned masculine dog of very good type. Strong masculine head, the eyes could be darker. Good length of neck. High withers, slight dip behind, firm back, good lay but slightly short croup. Very fore and correct hindquarter angulation. Does not stand quite correct in front. Very good length of foreleg. Good fore and slightly deep underchest development. In stance exhibits very good strength and masculinity. Steps a little wide coming and going. Both the elbows and hocks are yet to tighten. Exhibits a powerful drive with very good ground covering movement and very good reach. Firm in character and gunsure.

Faults and Virtues :

Standing on the upper limit of size, a substantial well proportioned dog that impresses in side movement however I would like him to be a little firmer over the topline.

Breeding Advice :

Suitable for bitches requiring strength, substance and proportions. Due care to be given in regards to hips and elbows.
