Breed Critique :

Medium size, quite strong dog of very good type, masculine head and expression, good withers, firm back good forequarter and very good hind quarter angulation, generally well proportioned in height, length and depth, easy movement with good length of stride, friendly and outgoing temperament.

Faults and Virtues :

Particularly well proportioned dog, masculine in type and construction, withers should be higher in movement. Would have achieved Class I classification had he not failed the gun test. Resurveyed: Passed guntest. Classified Class I

Although the dog himself is of medium size, care should be taken with large bitches as these lines can produce large stock
