Breed Critique :
A large, medium strong, richly coloured and pigmented dog of very good type and proportions. He has a masculine head where ideally the muzzle should be broader and the upper and lower jaws should be stronger. High wither, slight dip behind, firm back, slightly short and slightly steep croup. Very good forechest and good underchest development. Good forequarter angulation where the upper arm should be longer and better angled. The hind angulation is on the absolute limit permissible. Stands correct in front. Moves close going with loose hocks, slightly narrow coming where the elbows are yet to reach their final firmness. During movement displays a very good ground covering gait with very good back transmission. The forehand reach should be a little freer. The hindquarter drive should be more effective. Character firm. Gunsure. Underdeveloped P1s and P2s upper right and left. Double P1 upper left. Underdeveloped P2s lower right and left.
Faults and Virtues :
A very pleasing dog in stance and in side movement, however, the loose hocks and deep hindquarter angulation affects the power and effectiveness of the hind movement. Maybe advantageous for the improvement of colour and pigmentation.
Breeding Advice :
Only suitable for partners with a very good history of normal elbow results and strong dentition. Further line breeding to Iwan Lechtal and Vonpeta Eva should be avoided.
