Breed Critique :

Well above medium size, typey, firm dry and athleic, well coated, correctly proportioned dog, impressive in his harmony of build both in stance and movement. He has a well formed expressive head, correct length of neck, high and long wither placement, strong back and good croup. Very good fore with good breadth of thigh. In movement he shows an easy enduring sequence of steps with powerful drive and free reach. Very good character. Gun sure.

Faults and Virtues :

Of praiseworthy type, harmony of build and overall firmness of ligamentation. The pigment is good, the colouration could be a little deeper as could the eye colour. He presents himself with considerable ease in himself and his surroundings.

Breeding Advice :

The dog has litter and full brother ansd sisters of above average quality of similar type. He should prove predictable to produce his own type. Avoid any further linebreeding to the Stobar "M" litter and those dogs immediately behind it.
