Breed Critique :
A very large, well pigmented and coloured, medium strong, long stock coat male of very good type and proportions. Expressive head with a broad skull, medium eye colour, the lower jaw should be stronger. High withers, firm back, with a slight peak in the topline, slightly short and slightly steep croup. Very good angulation of the fore and hindquarter. the forechest has still to reach final development and the underchest could be a little longer. Stands correct in front. Steps correct coming and going. Shows powerful ground covering movement with very good reach and drive. Presented himself with confidence and is gunsure. Not quite correct scissor bite - slightly overshot. Slightly incorrect alignment of P1s and P2s both left and right.
Faults and Virtues :
Standing on the upper limit of size a long stock coat dog of pleasing
type that has a very good pedigree coming from two high quality parents.
Should be of value to those breeders wishing to breed long stock coats.
The underjaw should be more developed.
Breeding Advice :
Suitable for long stock coat bitches from most bloodlines especially
those needing improvement in overall type and proportions. Care should
be taken in regards to hip status of potential partners.
