Breed Critique :

A very large, dog standing at 66cms, strong and masculine, of very good proportions and good type. Masculine, well formed head with desired dark masking, however the expression is spoilt by the medium eye colour. Normal wither, firm back with a slight peak, slightly short and steep croup. Very good forechest and good underchest development. Good forequarter angulation where the upper arm should be longer and better angled. Very good hindquarter angulation. Stands correct in front, Moves correct with good firmness of hock joints, slightly wide coming with loose elbows. During movement displays a good gait with very good firmness of the ligamentation of the back however should show more enthusiasm and joy of running. Character firm and lively. Gunsure. Slightly underdeveloped P1 lower left and right.

 

Faults and Virtues :

A very masculine dog standing at the upper limit of size and that presents a very pleasing picture in stance. He should show more enthusiasm when running.

 

Breeding Advice :

Care should be exercised with regard to size. Should be suitable for the improvement of colour and pigmentation.
