Breed Critique :

A very large, harmoniously constructed, strong and substantial male with very good head and masculine expression.  Good masking, medium brown eye colour and slightly wide ear set, where the saddle marking should be more pronounced.  Stands with a high wither, sufficiently firm back, good croup, which is just slightly short.  Very good angulation of the fore and hindquarter, pronounced fore and underchest development.  I would like to see this dog presented in a firmer and dryer condition.  Stands not quite correct in front, with soft pasterns.  Steps correct going and coming where the hock and elbow ligamentation should be tighter.  Exhibits far reaching, balanced movement with very good drive.  Calm in temperament and gunsure.  Upper right P3 out of alignment.

Faults and Virtues :

Standing on the upper limit of size, a harmoniously constructed, masculine, calm male with praiseworthy character and very good overall construction.  Very pleasing masculine head and overall angulations.

Breeding Advice :

Recommended to medium size, dry and firm, well angulated bitches with strong pigmentation.   Not suitable to bitches from lines producing top size.
