Breed Critique :
Very large, strong, substantial firm and dry athletic, elongated well coloured, well pigmented black and gold dog of excellent type. Noble head and expression. Very good breadth of skull, with slight roman nose and desired masking. The ears are large, but firm. Very good strength of the upper and lower jaws. The lips are loose. Strong powerful well laid neck, high long withers, straight firm back, well moulded slightly short croup. Very good forequarter angulation, where the long upper arm should be slightly better angled. Deep hindquarter angulation. Very good underline. Stands and steps correct at front. Stepping slightly narrow at rear. Very good length of foreleg. In movement, displays powerful drive and free reach with a very good sequence of steps, maintaining a very good witherline. Ideally the coat should be more profuse. Remained calm and self assured throughout the survey and was gunsure.
Faults and Virtues :
Very large, masculine elongated dog that ideally should possess a thicker and more profuse coat. Very good dry and firm moving dog. He is family typical with desirable, sound bloodlines. He has high quality litter mates.
Breeding Advice :
Care to be taken with size. Recommended for medium size females that need correction of type, backline, length of foreleg, underchest and willingness to run.
