Large, strong, masculine dog of very good type and proportions with strong masculine head, dark eyes and masking. Stands with a level wither, slight nick behind wither, into firm back and the croup whilst of good lay should be slightly longer. He shows a slight peak in the topline in stance. Very good angulation of the fore and hindquarter. Very good forechest and very good underline. Stands correct in front. In movement whilst he covers the ground well he should hold his wither line higher and show more enthusiasm in gaiting. Firm in character and Gun sure.

A strong, masculine dog that presents better in stance than in movement.
