Breed Critique :
A large, strong, slightly elongated dog with a strong masculine head. Stands with high withers, firm back, slightly short, slightly steep croup. Good forequarter angulation where the upper arm should be longer, very good hindquarter angulation. Good fore and underchest development. Stands straight in front. Steps correct front and rear, the underchest should be longer. During movement the reach should be more pronounced, strong hindquarter drive out of a firm back. Gunsure and excellent character.
Faults and Virtues :
A dog that shows a willingness to work, presented in a firm, dry condition, the underchest should be a little longer.
Breeding Advice :
Suitable only for bitches with normal elbows and that carry a bloodline of a very high percentage of normal elbows.
