Breed Critique :

Very large, strong, masculine dog of very good type, dry and firm with a very good head and expression where the eye colour should be a little darker.  High withers, firm back, very good length and lay of the croup.  Very good proportions.  Very good forequarter angulation, ideally the upper arm should be longer and better angled.  Very good chest proportions.  Stands correct in front.  Moves correct coming and going with firm hock and elbow joints.  Shows very good movement, very good ground covering gait maintaining a firm outline.  Character firm and good natured.  Slightly underdeveloped P3 upper left and right.

Faults and Virtues :

A strong masculine dog of very good type and balance that stands on the absolute upper limit of size. 

 

Breeding Advice :

Suitable for the improvement of type, balance and pigment.  He has an open pedigree and suitable for most bloodlines.  Caution should be exercised in regard to size.
