Large, strongly boned dog of very good proportions. In the forehand the upper arm could be better angled and the elbows should fit tighter. The back is firm, the croup is slightly short with a definite slope. The hindquarter should have a deeper angulation at the knee and it is cow-hocked. The reach is good, the drive should be more forceful. Temperament is carefree and unconcerned, courage and combative instinct pronounced.
