Our first pedigree German Shepherd was a fine looking male for the era, however, he was quite nervous, and from that time on soundness of character was of paramount importance within our breeding program. The foundation of our Kennel was a bitch Jonhsway Josy a daughter of the 1979 Sieger, Eros vd Malvenberg. From this bitch through carefully selected breeding partners stems the foundation of the most successful German Shepherd Kennel in South Australia.
The results of our kennel are unparalleled, having bred in excess of Seventy Four (74) Excellent Graded animals, Seven (7) National and Main Breed Show Class Winners, including Silver Medal Bitch, numerous National and Main Breed Show Place getters, Champion and Obedience titled animals. We have bred over Seventy two (72) animals presented for Breed Survey and more than Eighty eight (88) animals have passed the GSDC of Aust. Inc. Hip Dysplasia Scheme. We have supported the Breed Improvement Schemes of the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia and contribute much of our success of our kennel to those schemes.
All animals utilized in our breeding program have been successfully exhibited in the Show ring, and have achieved Breed Survey classification. With the introduction of the Hip Dysplasia and Elbow Schemes all of our breeding stock have achieved passes and gained their 'A' (HD) and 'Z' (Elbows).

Rhosyn Kriskross Cl I 'A' 'Z' Ex STATE SIEGER 2004 Kriskross came from a very successful litter, two Excellent graded sisters have gone on to produce for other kennels and one was the grand mother of the 2009 Bronze medal winning dog at the Queensland National. His show career was exceptional, culminating with a very well deserved 8th Excellent Open Dog at the 32nd National under judge Herr Goke. Having produced eight Excellent graded progeny, who have produced on, he will be recorded in pedigrees for many years in to the future.
Rhosyn have imported several males into Australia, Ch Gigolo v Elzmundungsraum 'a' ED Excellent Select & Vice Sieger 2007 and Bronze medallist 2007 National. Gigolo has produced in excess of 25 excellent graded progeny. Vimo vd Hopfenhalle 'a' ED Excellent Gold medallist 2008 National. Vimo's progeny are only young, however, all are performing well in the Show ring and all have passed the GSDC of A Hip and Elbow scheme.
